This is situated on the main road of C2B market two-three shops next to bikaner. I went there to take away my order. It was very clean & tidy. They do have seating inside as well. My order was ready on time which was very impressive. Packing was done neatly(very much important for a take away) Overall i had a sweet & bitter experience but sweet is the above side. A very good option to get some yummy punjabi cuisine at reasonable rates. Thumbs up for this place.
WAH JI WAH is a small dine-in, take away, home delivery restaurant in janakpuri region. The place serves pure vegetarian food, so this doesnโt attract much of non-vegetarians. But being a hardcore chicken lover I can assure you that WAH JI WAH is none less than any other non-veg food joint. Their menu is filled with so many attractive chaap dishes which you canโt resist without tasting and they are worth trying.
Wah ji wah has made a name for itself, all over Delhi, for quality vegetarian food. I was new to janakpuri and was told that this is the place to get good veg food delivered. And I wasn't disappointed. I had ordered the malai chaap as a starter. The chap was really soft and tender. Delicious, albeit with slightly lesser "malai". But it was still quite full of flavours. And ignited my taste buds, just what a starter should do .
After hearing a lot about, i decided to order food from WAH JI WAH on a saturday evening. Wah ji Wah has wide variety of food items, from snacks to rolls, chinese to tandoor items. So from the dishes i ordered: Tawa chaap gravy which had a thick gravy and the chaap was soft and fresh. Chilly paneer which was tossed in vegetables and was spicy. A must try for chilli lovers Achaari chaap roll: the chaap was wrapped in rumali roti and was served with onion and green mint sauce.
Wah ji wah, They serve only vegetarian food. This is the only outlet which provide the seating area . Ordered food for home delivery. Thali, chana masala & veg fish tikka. Food was good. Quantity of food was also ok. Its a good place for veggies. Delivery was well on time. No complaints for them.
Wah Ji Wah is an iconic name in the food circle especially in Delhi since the past many decades. It offers feel-at-home kind of food, catering entirely to the Vegetarian's palate and liking. On a recent visit to a market in Janakpuri, I decided to visit the newest Wah Ji Wah located in C Block for dinner, which interestingly is the first outlet in their chain to offer dine-in facility i.e. by providing seating space for a good twenty to thirty people (on a small scale), apart from a couple of tables positioned right outside the outlet where patrons can opt to stand and eat (basically quick bites)
When you just want to eat good food at a budget price without bothering about a grand dine-in experience, great ambiance, super hospitality, spacious seating, then Wah Ji Wah can be the first choice. In addition, you will have Punjabi food taste in all the recipes served here. A fair amount of spices and oil in all starters and main course.
Wah Ji Wah... AaEthe Ta baithan Di jagha Bhi hagi Hai. Good to have a Punjabi type restaurant in Janak Puri. Food is awesome variety even more. I tried garlic chaap garlic naan paneer lababdar naan a few items I don't remember.best thing it is pure vegetarian. Service is quick hygiene seems fair. Sitting is comfortable and food is totally worth the money.
Here was one cold night and being a Soya Chaap lover I had to visit this place, as Wah Ji Wah is very famous for their chaaps. I went here with some of my friends and soon as we entered we were warm welcomed by the owner and also could see the simplicity and generosity of the staff there. Here we started with different chaaps and first one was Achari chaap which was full of flavors and spices - very tasty basically it was proving its name through the taste of achaar fully. So we kept on tasting different chaaps which included Malai Chaap, Veg fish tikka, tandoori chaap and to my surprise none of the dish disappointed us. Firstly when we saw Veg fish tikka on our table we really thought as if it was real fish tikka only but as the name suggested it was veg one and tastes superb, very crispy. We also tried Gravy Momos and tandoori momos which were equally good. I loved the gravy of momos.
Wah ji Wah - This place do not need any introduction, it's a well known name from more then 25 years, and I think the owner thought deeply about its name as when one finish it's food the only words they say is "WAH Ji WAH" maaza aa gaya. Their are many other food outlet adjoining "Wah ji Wah" from pizza to chines to bubble tea but this outlet is always pack
A meet up was organised over there. The owner was very generous in nature and treated us with a warm welcome. The whole staff was courtageous . Service was also fast for the snacks .But you have to wait a while for main course ,that was worth waiting. Starting with the snacks the fish chaap ,achari chaap and malai chaap have a interesting taste giving your taste buds a sudden taste of flavours. The main course items were also surprisingly awesome , pindi chole , panner lababdar, dal makhni . The show stalker was pindi chole that was cooked in cashew gravy . The different types of breads were also perfectly cooked to the inches .overall all the items enhanced the taste of each other.
I ordered their platter, tikka masala and their special soya Afghani champ. The champ was leathery and I didn't like it. It was almost raw. The tikka masala was good, and just the right amount of spices. The dahi ke kebab is essentially a bread roll deep fried, with dahi in between.a tad too oily if you ask me. The paneer tikka was dry and tasteless. The achari soya tikka too was a bit raw.
